Design and Graphic Technology, here at NWTC, focuses heavily on combining artistic skill with a clever understanding regarding technological ideology in the context of print and digital content. With this Associates degree you may become a Graphic Designer, Marketing Specialist, Digital Print Technician, Graphic Artist, Pre-Press Technician, Social Media Manger, and/or Content Creator.
The courses required for this associates degree include, but are not limited to Illustrator Fundamentals, Photoshop Fundamentals, Design and Graphic Fundamentals, Career’s in Digital Arts, Layout and Composition, Photoshop Advanced, Graphic Design Development, Photography-Digital, Typography, Digital Print Fundamentals, Graphic Design Project Management, Digital Color Management, Integrated Design, Design-Graphic Experience, and Graphic Design Application.
Given my Associates in Web and Graphic Design I am still hesitant to take this route as the career route is the same location, however, that is the beauty in the continuous education that is living, or coexisting.
